Our Mission

The mission of Helmets to Hardhats (H2H) is to support Veterans, reservists, senior cadets, military family members and Afghan Nationals with an enduring relationship to Canada in finding a meaningful second career in the unionized construction industry. H2H builds civilian careers for the military community by simplifying and expediting the process for Veterans to continue serving their communities, this time, through the skilled trades and apprenticeship opportunities.

Our Vision

The vision for Helmets to Hardhats is to transition as many Veterans, reservists, senior cadets, family members and Afghan Nationals with an enduring relationship to Canada into successful second careers in the unionized construction industry, while simultaneously filling Canada’s labour market shortages. We envision Canada’s Veterans continuing to contribute to our growing communities across the country.
