Alberta Skilled Pathway Program

Under our Skilled Pathway program, Alberta-based clients are eligible for a free apprenticeship starter kit and the opportunity to complete mandated safety training.

Available courses include:

ABCS Confined Space Entry and Monitor (Instructor-led learning)
ABCS Mobile Elevated Work Platform (Instructor-led learning)
ABCS Rigging and Overhead Crane Operations (Blended Learning)

All Helmets to Hardhats registrants can access SkillPlan resources. The SkillPlan Learning Hub enables you to learn more about each skilled trade, unions, the construction industry, and academic upgrading in areas such as math and science.

Safety Training Courses

Starting a skilled trade career in Ontario? Helmets to Hardhats has industry-mandated safety training options available.

We can register you in up to four courses, in any combination:

Basics of Supervision
Hoisting and Rigging
Working at Heights
Confined Space Entry
Elevated Work Platform
First Aid

All registrations automatically include WHMIS and Worker Health and Safety Awareness.

Training is available at NORCAT locations in Mississauga, Sudbury, Timmins, or Thunder Bay.

Available in English and French.
